Introducing Research Topics of Statistical Physics to Young Physicists
On the occasion of:
Celebration of 125th Birth Anniversary of Professor Satyendra Nath Bose

Students of Physics Honors studying in B. Sc. 3rd year
Students of M. Sc. with Physics major
Junior Ph. D. students in Physics
Tentative Plan of Activity : Eleven very well known and internationally reputed scientists of Statistical Physics of the country and abroad have kindly agreed for lecturing in the school. Each of them are expected to deliver 3 – 4 lectures, each being 1.5 hrs of duration. Tentatively, it has been planned to schedule two lectures in the pre - lunch session and another one / two lecture(s) in the post – lunch session everyday. In the afternoon, there will be tutorial sessions where the lecturers will be able to further clarify the doubts of the students. In addition there will be computer programming / algorithm classes where students will be taught to write codes of the models they learn in theory classes.
