Travel within Kolkata: Kolkata has an extensive local train system with two main lines starting from Howrah Station and another from Sealdah Station. The city also boasts of one of India’s oldest Metro rail system.

To get to other parts of the city, one can take an auto ride to Bidhannagar bus stand, Korunamoyee. The closest local train station in Bidhannagar is in Ultodanga, which is also accessible by auto.
