The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act 2013 is an Act to provide protection against harassment of women at workplace and for the prevention and redressal of complaints of sexual harassment and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
The re-constitution Internal Complaints Committee of the Centre approved by the Governing Body in its 52nd meeting held on 5th October 2016 is as follows :
The tenure of the Internal Complaints Committee is for a period of three (3) years from the date of its first meeting.
In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,
"aggrieved women" would mean-
"Sexual Harassment" includes any one or more of the following unwelcome acts or behavior (whether directly or by implication) namely:-
