A Conclave of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Govt. of India will be held in Kolkata on May 2-3, 2017. The conclave is being organized by the S. N. Bose National Centre for Basic Sciences, Kolkata.
The Conclave is being organized to brainstorm on the achievements of the ministry and also set the future directions for implementing S&T based interventions for meeting the challenges faced by the country.
Dr Harsh Vardhan, Honourable Union Minister of Science & Technology and Earth Sciences, Shri Y S Chowdary, Honourable Minister of State for Science & Technology and Earth Sciences, will grace the occassion.
Secretary, DST, Directors/Heads of Statutory Bodies and Autonomous Institutions, Survey of India, National Atlas & Thematic Mapping Organisation and Programme Divisions of DST are participating in the conclave.
This Conclave will focus and engage in fulfilling the National Agenda such as Skill India, Swachh Bharat, Swastha Bharat, Make in India, Innovate in India, Digital India, etc. as outlined by the Prime Minister.
