Policy – Param Rudra System

1. Account Creation for Original DPR(Detailed Project Report) Members

   • User accounts will be created for all original DPR submission members. Each DPR member will receive an equal number of accounts, ensuring no discrepancies.

2. Charging Units

   • Resource Type	Charges
     Per CPU core per minute	1.6 paisa
     Per GPU card per minute	70 paisa

     Note :

     1. A Promotional discount of 20% on the above rate will be given for Government and Government Funded Academic & Research Organization.
     2. 36% discount will be given for bulk Institutional subscription (billable amount of Rs.10 Lakhs & above)
     3. NSM standard rate will be applicable for other users, other than those mentioned above. Please Ref.Standard Operating Procedures For NSM HPC Systems
     4. GST will be charged as per rule.
     5. The usage situation will be reviewed periodically.

3. Serial Job User Access

   • The system should prioritize parallel jobs, as per CDAC guidelines. For Serial Jobs: Users must submit a justifiable proposal for approval by the Competent Authority.

4. Experimental Job User Access

   • Experimental users must submit justifiable proposals for approval by the Competent Authority, including evidence of prior system usage and relevant publications, to access serial or parallel jobs.

5. Dormant Account Policy

   • Accounts dormant for three consecutive months will be deactivated. Reactivation: will require a written request with proper justification.

6. Fair Share Storage Policy

   • Automatic deletion of unused scratch areas for over 03 months. Users must ensure data backups.
