Content Contribution, Moderation & Approval Policy (CMAP)

Content components are created with metadata, source, and a validity date. In cases where the validity period is not specified at the time of creation, such content is considered perpetual and assigned a default validity of ten years or until further directives are issued by the nodal officer. Post the validity date, the content may cease to be displayed on the website.

Short-lived content components—such as tenders, recruitment notices, and draft documents for discussion—lose relevance once the associated event or purpose concludes. After a stipulated period, such content will be moved to the Archive section. A review will be conducted approximately two weeks prior to the validity date, during which the concerned authority may revalidate and extend the validity period if necessary. If the content is deemed irrelevant, it will either be archived or removed from the website. Expired content components, including documents and notifications/instructions, will be archived for a duration as prescribed by the respective nodal officer.
